A Kadokawa anunciou na sexta-feira que a série de light novels “Once Upon a Witch’s Death: The Tale of the One Thousand Tears of Joy” (Aru Majo ga Shinu Made: Owari no Kotoba to Hajimari no Namida), escrita por Saka e ilustrada por Chorefuji, será adaptada para uma série de anime para televisão em 2025.

Atsushi Nigorikawa (A Destructive God Sits Next to Me, Between the Sky and Sea, Beast Tamer) está dirigindo o anime no estúdio EMT Squared. Yuki Shizuku (assistente de design de personagens em Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation, diretora-chefe de animação em Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout) está adaptando os designs de personagens de Chorefuji para a animação. Keiichirō Ōchi (Adachi and Shimamura, The Quintessential Quintuplets) está supervisionando os roteiros da série.
